Isle of Dogs
Isle of Dogs is a stop-motion animated comedy written and directed by Wes Anderson (Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou). The story is set in Japan where a young boy searches for his dog.
This movie boasts an impressive cast, as actors who lend their voice includes Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Harvey Keitel, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Liev Schreiber and Frances McDormand.
Although I’m not a big fan of Wes Anderson, I think he’s an author whose movies are different and stand out from the competition. At least they are worth checking out because you know you won’t be watching a movie you already saw a dozen of times.
