Paul Thomas Anderson has a new movie, called Phantom Thread
Paul Thomas Anderson, one of the best American directors in past 20 years, has a new movie called Phantom Thread and starring Daniel Day-Lewis (There Will Be Blood, Gangs of New York, Lincoln, The Last of the Mohicans, My Left Foot). If you don’t know who Paul Thomas Anderson is, I’m sure you watched at least one of his movies. He’s a guy behind Boogie Nights, Magnolia, There Will Be Blood, Inherent Vice, The Master, Punch-Drunk Love and Hard Eight. Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the best actors working today and a 3 time Oscar winner. This is his last movie as he announced that he will be retiring from acting after he finishes Phantom Thread.
The story in Phantom Thread is set in 1950’s London. Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis) is a renowned dressmaker whose fastidious life is disrupted by a young, strong-willed woman, Alma, who becomes his muse and lover.

This looks interesting but we’ll see soon. Phantom Thread arrives in theaters on December 25, 2017.
