Train To Busan post-apocalyptic zombie sequel, called Peninsula, gets first trailer

Peninsula (or Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula), a sequel to the 2016 South Korean zombie hit movie, just got a first official trailer. If you’re not familiar with this property, Train To Busan, directed by Sang-ho Yeon, was a big South Korean hit (one of the most successful movies released in South Korea) set during a zombie virus outbreak in South Korea where passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan. If you like this type of movies I highly recommend to watch it as it is one of the best zombie movies ever made.
Peninsula is also directed by Sang-ho Yeon (Seoul Station, Psychokinesis) and is set four years after the first movie. While original movie was set almost entirely on a train, Peninsula is much bigger in scale. Reportedly, a sequel is set in the same universe but it doesn’t continue the story and it has different characters. Government has been decimated and there is nothing left except the geographical traits of the location – which is why the film is called Peninsula.
Trailer looks solid although there is too much obvious CGI here which I personally dislike but let’s hope it will look better in the final product.
Here’s a trailer.
